Just got a reply from the TORONTO POLICE DEPT regarding the laws in ontario canada...

HERE IT IS;

Richard,

Thank you for your interest

The laws regarding Hydraulic suspension can be found in Ontario Regulation 611 Schedule 1.

To put it simply;

It is legal!!,
It must not leak any fluids onto any roadway or parking lot!!
and the tires cannot contact the vehicle in any way nor leave the ground on a public highway.

Yes I did :biggrin:

With 13's on a car this may be the only ticket you could get if your playing it safe with ALL WHEELS ON THE GROUND....

5. A tire fitted on a vehicle shall not,

(a) be of a smaller size than the vehicle manufacturer's specified minimum size; or

(b) contact any vehicle component so as to affect the safe operation of the vehicle. R.R.O. 1990, Reg. 625, s. 5.

I WAS AT A PARTY AND THE POLICE (TOWN AND STATE) SHOWED UP. I WAS SHOOTIN THE SHIT W/ THE COPS, AND ASKED THEM IF HYDRAULICS WERE ILLEGAL. THE STATEY AND THE RODEY WERE BOTH LIKE NO WAY. THEY BOTH THOUGHT LOWRIDERS WERE COOL AND STARTED ASKING ME ALL ABOUT MY CAR. THE TOWN COP ASKED ME WHERE IT WAS. HE WANTED TO SEE THE HYDRAULICS GO.
THE STATEY AND AND TOWN COP BOTH SAID THAT HYDRAULICS ARE PERFECTLY LEGAL IN MASSACHUSETTS AS LONG AS U DRIVE NEAR STOCK RIDE HEIGHT AND NOT HIT SWITCHES. HE SAID "AS LONG AS IM IN A PARKING LOT, I CAN DO W/E THE FUCK I WANT" THEY WERE PRETTY COOL COPS

Becareful, because you will be cited if your are traveling in excess of 15 MPH.
The AZ statue allows a vehicle to be raised by mechanical means (hydraulics) when it is being driven at a speed not greater than 15 MPH.
I'm pretty familiar with the law and would rather people know what it is, than risk receiving a citation.
PEACE
