i just recieved my strut kit from CCE and was wondering if anyone on here has had any experience with them mainly the top mount it comes with where the cylinder mounts to there is about a 1/4" of up/down play in the joint is this OK? do you just put grease on this for lubrication and let it go

Got lots of experience with that "necessary" P.O.S. .... LOL yeah that gap is okay.. put a little grease on it and once you pressurize the ride it will be okay...does not make too much noise on the bumps or give any slop to the front end when ya ride.... but they could have been designed & machined better without the up and down movement as it allows some rattling when riding...., but it works fine, maybe one day, a better one will be made... till then :uh:

I just make my own. Same thing without the pretty machining. Just a welded up contraption that works really well.....And no play in the bearings
