yea.. so next year im a finish the paint job on this thing...
hok candy apple red over the silver flake..
graffiti graphics over the black.. and some more stripes and leaf..

but what fkin clear should i use.. i wanna try something different.. been seeing alot of you guys use alot of different shit.. and it looks hella good!

what brands do you reccommend..where can i get it.. and pic if u have some!

btw.. my car sits outside most the time..

i always try new shit, right now i like using matrix. sprays out nice, smells good and buffs easy.

guess it depends on your budget....

X 2 i get the set up for like $155.00 sprays and lays nice. i love this shit.

amazing clear.

it's 2:1:1, make sure you mix it right. it flows amazingly and lays out like glass.

around here you can get it anywhere from $130 to $150 a gallon but once mixed properly, you get two sprayable gallons of great clear. (2:1:1 = 1 gallon of clear, two quarts of hardener, two quarts of reducer)

I only mix half. one gallon kit does 2 full cars door jambs and all.

are you talking about the dcb100? My PPG rep was recommended that but I wasnt sure

dcb100 nicest schit for the money period for those who have been around for a while dcb100 is dcu2001 the old school shit in a fleet label they had to sell it under a fleet packaging because of the v.o.c. guidlines!
2001 was one of the best klears ever!!!!!!!!!!! :biggrin:

ppg great stuff for the buck but if the thicker the paint mils the( softer clear is needed ) like hok ufc 35 but outragously priced tho you do great work you be the judge homie

TRY R-M DC-98 LOOK AT CHERRY 64. AND MOST OF MY WORK I STICK TO ONE SYSTEM FOR THE HIGH END JOBS ON MY CAR DIAMONT.

yea. my friend uses that.. ive seen it lay out nice and wet.. even without a buff...
i forget about this clear..
