I know its a 327...but can anyone tell me the year range....
It does have an 80s ignition with the coil inside the dizzy
but I beleive the engine is somewhere in the 60s but wanted to know if you guys can get me closer to what year it is

i know chevy produced the 327 from 62-69... but i want to know which year is it and what the difference are between the motors through out the years

it has a rochester carb barrel i beleive and a 2pd powerglide

if u can tell me any other info id appreciate it like where the cast markings are so i can decode it

Yup. You have to look up the numbers. As for the differences, the 62-67 blocks are much more desireable than the 68-69. The 62-67 have a small journal steel crank.

the only thing that dates that motor visibly is the oil filler tube other than that casting is the only thing that will tell you what size it is and the date stamp will date it
