I need some help here. I am trying to strip my dash on a 63 Impala but I can't get the ignition switch out and I don't have the keys for this car. I am trying to avoid doing any damage but if I have to I will.

put a paper clip in the lil' hole in your ignition switch,there will be 2 of them ,use the one closest to your right when lookin down on it,turn ignition hole way to the right and insert clip,turn right till u feel the spring loaded tab when u press down on it turn to right one more time then it should pop right out,hope that helps homie
