can the dash in the early impala's 61-64 be repainted ? it is metal right ? also is their any tricks for cleaning up the chrome buttons ?

im sorry i know this is a lame topic , but im new and i got to learn somewhere

It can be repainted if it's metal. Just like you'd paint a body panel I guess.

You can upholster it also.

If you have a padded dash, the padded piece is pretty easy to take off. There are quite a bit of rivets on the top side after you rip all the foam and shit off, but you could also paint that if you don't want to have it upholsetered again.
