Found a 63 Impala 4 door with the straight 6 in it. Will the frame from the 63 work on a 64 Impala SS? Will I have to make any modifications? Will a V8 engine mount right where the straight six was? Thanks for any info.

i have heard that some frames were fully boxed from the rear end to the rear bumper. someone said canadian frames were that way, others say only one assembly plant did em that way.

i recall them being called "windsor" frames. any one know for sure?
