That'll be one of the last things. I'm gonna pull the frame out from under it next and get it all cleaned up and sand blasted, Then i'm gonna send it out to get all the stress points reinforced. When i get it back i'm gonna have it painted. Then when that's done, I'm gonna drop the motor and tranny in and put the front clip back on then have the car painted.

Im may let a few of the little thing slide just to get it back out, as long as its been since I started on it there just wont be any excuse for half-assing it though. Im hoping for September.

what did you use to clean the belly....... I need to do mines .
I used a drill with a wire wheel. Took me a while but i got it. My car body is sitting on 4x4's and jackstands, so i had to do it all upside down. I ended up getting really dirty. Word to the wise, use saftey goggles and a face mask. LOL!!!

LOL!! Thanx homie. Naw it's cool, I stacked blocks up to support where the 4x4's were bowing in the middle.

My goal is to have the car out by April '06.

why didnt you finish cleaning it?

I got it as best as i could with what i had to work with. It may not be all smoothed and candied, but it is alot cleaner than what it was. Besides, I'm not trying to build a $30,000 show car or something like that. I just want something clean that i can take out on the weekends and enjoy riding.

justa fyi its easier to have the belly sand blasted at the stage your at all that shit would have came off in 20 minutes and cost about  200.00 for the belly and looked 10 times better. It looks cool now but medai blasting is the way to go
 That's cool homie. But i just wanted to clean it up a little bit, Ya know. not really looking for a show winning undercarriage. Just something clean, undercoated, and painted enough to where i can still drive it out on the street and not have to worry about messing anything up. Also, My funds are limited, So whatever i can do on my own and not have to pay someone else to do, I'll try and do it myself. Plus i know that not alot of people are going to see underneath my car.

A lot of people build cars and spend so much money on them and put so much detail into them that you can't even drive them. If i build a car i want to be able to drive it and not have to trailor it everywhere it goes. Don't get me wrong though, I understand what you're saying and i do appreciate your advice, and anymore that you might be able to give me in the future. But to be honest with ya, I'm just a poor man trying to have something nice. LOL!!! Know what i'm sayin. Thanks again though.
