Is it hard to make vinyl seat covers for a 63 impala.Does anyone know if its hard to sew vinyl together. My grandma used to sew curtains from scratch,you think she would be able to make some seat covers??Does anyone know how much material of vinyl i will need.Any tips or info or opions???

You can save yourself a lot of time by just ordering seatcovers. The Paddock or Impala Bob's are good places to start looking.

you should only need about 4 yards for a bench seat........

this would also be the cheapest way especially if your grandma has sewn vinyl before.....good luck bro
forgot to add that the local upholstery shop here in my town charges $400 to cover a bench seat in vinyl :0
Any vinyl that will hold up at all cannot be sewn in a standard sewing machine. I've tried. You could probably save yourself some money if you ordered and cut up the vinyl, just taking it into the shop to be sewn, then install it on the seat yourself. That's what I did. Good luck.

have you considered marine fabric instead?
