you had the right idea beto. you have to sand it in 6 stage's, first i would use, 3,000 then, 3,600 4,000 6,000  8,000  and finish it off with 12,000 the same way you get a good paint job to shine. i have saved a bunch of my friend's glasses when they have gotten paint or crazy glue on them. but it take's time.

YES this works and it helps fresh windows also ! I have bought kits before where the rubber tire has melted in to the window and it sanded and polished right out !
