okay i want to build a jl sond system but im new in sound so i need help okay here is what i want tell me what u guys think



i want 3 subs here are two choices wich one is better and why

okay here at some amps that i like wich one would be good to power those subs up do i get both or one or what do i do

dogg id go all out if u want a loud and nice sound system...id go with tha 15s and tha most watt of amps u can git...i dont kna if u should go with a jl amp tho, because they're known to blow....but tha sound all depends on tha type of box u git too....

if you are getting three JL subs, i would get the 12W6's. They come in a Dual 6ohm configuration, which allows you to wire them up in a standard 4-ohm load. Then you can get ya a JL 1000/1 and your set.

If i were to go all jl audio i would get one of the w7's and either the 500/1 or 1000/1 depending on what size w7 you got.

im pushing a 10'' w7 off a 500/1 now its loud for a single sub but if you want to go all out man get adire audio brahmas if your into sq like jl's give out...unless you can get a good deal on the subs and amps i would consider something else..i got a fairly good deal on my amp box and sub... 850 for all of it and considering list price on the amp alone is 600 and the w7 list price is right around there to i saved a shitload of money...be careful if you shopping online also. JL amps are good amps but they are steap in price but they push alot more then they say....basically its an older ppi with more features

it would be more than 2000 watts becasue those amps are underrated a bit as the ohms drop. And also wouldnt that be braking the warranty and i know jl is a bitch when it comes to the warranties.

we had one with a 1000/1 on each coil. The Warranty stops at 2000, but it took it well.
