the threads are going in different directions
on the driver side the left side the knock off is turned clockwise to tighten and counter clock wise to loosen
on the passenger side the knock off is turned counter clock wise to tighten and clock wise to loosen
your ADAPTERS and knock offs are both right and left NOT JUST THE KNOCKOFFS
if your are not marked left and right you better figure it out it does matter they will come loose if done wrong and you will damage threads
your may be color coded as left and right
white and red
not sure which is right or left by color
do you see a part number on adapter or knockoff that ends with a letter L or R for left and right
example 36789L & 36789R
