i was wondering if any one had any pics of 80's Cutlass’s laying frame on 13's or 14's. i did a search for all things Cutlass’s and all I found was people trying to lay out on 20’s, so any pics and information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks colin

ttt some one has got to know something about laying frame on 13's and 14's.
I got an 84 cutlass I am notching the rear and changed spindles in front and want to make it lay out on 24's when I finish with it.
that's cool i read a lot of your old posts very helpful. but the reason im asking about laying out on 13's and 14's is because it looks like they might not tuck into the fender you know what im saying i don’t want to hit the fender. i also trying to find out if having reverse or stander wires will make a difference. any help would be appreciated.

maybe i am wrong on this, but i would think it is going to be easier to lay frame with smaller rims. they take up less space in the wheel well ... dunno?
i know that man, What im concerned with is if 13's or 14's will tuck because from all the pics i have seen the tire looks really close to the lip of the fender.
yes!!! sweet do you know anything more about it like tire size and if there are standard or reverse rims?

thanks for the pics

cool thanks a lot man. if you don't mind answering more questions could you tell me what all you had to do to get it to lay out? did you have to do anything to the control arms? did you have to notch the frame in the rear? you know stuff like that.

thanks again colin

dude you can lay that way with no major mods i use to have an 84 cutty made it lay like that one i had 2 ton coils in front with only 4 turns two them in the back i had stock front coils with 4 turns on them 8 batteries 8 in cylinders 3 pumps have pics but dont know how to post
work the same with bags
cool i new it would be easy to layout i was just worried about the wheels not clearing the fenders. you could send your pics to my e-mail address it's [email protected]

thanks colin
I notched mine 3" removed all the bump stops even the one for the tranny and it still didnt lay frame on 14's. It was real close, but not on the ground. I think that the control arms hit the floor of the trunk. The quarter pannels have to be rolled or trimmed for deep dish to fit also. That cutlass in the picture has a step notch in it. You will probably have to cut the floor out of your trunk and step notch it too.
