alright, im a new painter, and ive painted 3 cars and they came out pretty well.

I was tought base coat clear coat. but I keep hearing about single stage. cheaper? easyer to shoot?

Im thinking of painting my next car in single stage, but not sure it i shoot it any different?

if shooting metallics use 2 stage ( Base and Clear), if solid color you can use single stage.

Like Hoss805 says, I would say stay away from met. sinlge stages. As far as throwin down a solid color single stage it will lay out somewhat like a clear coat. You will just have to get in there and try it and get a feel for it pretty much. You should not have any problems, good luck Bro
