whats the cheapest way to lower it without sacrificing quality and saftey?

simple spring clamps lower your car 3 n a half inches n you dont even need to sacrifice your whole paycheck so you can go down to white castles n show off but youll need an alignment.

i think it depends on how broad your horizon is on "the cheapest way" ..........lowering springs would probally the way you want, this way you still have the same ride, but lower. If you want to go real cheap you could heat up a few turns on the coils with a torch, but then you'll get a more bumpy ride..........lol........ it all depends on how cheap you want to spend, and how much safety and a good ride you want.

yeah really if i were you id get a lowering coils to youll still need an alignment but its much better than the clamp idea i didnt even notice the car you were doin it to till i red it again but im not the only one that didnt notice right Joe5pt0. :thumbsup:

Yeah, you're right. I didnt see the kind of car it was.

But it doesn't matter what kind of car it is :twak: Spring clamps still suck.

well ya especially when theyve been on there soo long that they rust n you end up havin to take em off with a tourch.

and i just bought a 19 64 cadillac deville with only 25000 miles on tha 472 and i got it for free cause some stupid ass didnt know what a jewl was sitting in his back yard :biggrin:

thats firme, ive been looking for a clean 65 coupe deville around here for more than a year

keep the impalas give me a 65 coupe deville

He probably cut his coils, ended up too low and bottomed out a bunch of times. Then he probably put in some new ''stock'' springs and it probably now sits high like a truck. :biggrin: :biggrin:
