I GOT A 93 FLEET WITH THE TBI 350, BUT THE MOTOR IS BLOWN DUE TO PREVIOUS OWNER NEGLIGENCE  :uh:

I HAVE DIBS ON A 95 FLEETWOOD LT1 ENGINE AND TRANNY.

HOW COMPLICATED(AS FAR AS WIRING, COMPUTER, ETC.) WOULD IT BE TO INSTALL THE LT1 INTO A 93 WITH THAT HAD ORIGINAL TBI? SHOULD I GET A STAND ALONE WIRE HARNESS FOR THE LT1 ENGINE??? OR JUST INSTALL A CARB 350/700R4(REALLY DONT WANT TO :uh: )

JUST MAKIN A DECENT CRUISER FOR THE SUMMER AND KEEP PUSHIN ON MY MAIN CAR RIGHT NOW ;)

THANKS

as far as bolting up the trans and engine to the frame thats easy, but you have a big challenge if you want to keep the ac since its a little different system and the bcm from 93 is way different than the 94-96, and the Pcm is totally different, engine management elctronics are way different !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..................................save yourself the time money and headache and buy a 94-96 one

a 93 fleetwood is pretty much a 90-92 mechanical wise, 94-96 have a elctronic controlled trans a 4l60, all previous years had a mechanical trans.........i seen the conversion done, in my opinion its not worth it, but if you want to good luck and post some pictures

put some vortec heads on the 93 350
ulysses would he need the vortec intake also? what would that do to the performance of the engine?

You will need the vortec intake. I say use vortecs because they are based on the LT1 heads, and the heads are what help the LT1 make as much power as it does stock. The LT1 inta helps a little too.

Ok so I'm not gonna put it in my lac, just rebuild the engine that's in there.

So what would it take to put the LT1/4L60E in my 64?
2 midgits a bottle of tequila and some vasoline.
