This is how it started…I have a 1995 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham with an LT1 and I wanted to know what I could do to it, both performance and dress up because these are also the factory engine for Impala, Caprice and Road Master. I plan on sharing a lot of info that I have been able to collect while looking through various forums. I may have more info on Cadillacs because they are what I look for specifically  so feel free to add info for other rides which came with the LT1. My hope is that this thread will continue on with advice, pictures, parts, war stories, etc… all having to do with the LT1.

I started by posting pictures of aftermarket air intake(s) upon another members request. Here is what I posted.

<span style='color:green'>Did not take pictures and by no means am I an expert or even mechanic when it comes to LT1's...just know what I like and have done some homework ;)

Dressing up the LT1 can be done a few different ways depending on how much you want to tear down:

Polished fuel rails look good but only if you leave off "home plate" and do not add fuel rail covers.

Its pretty easy to pick up some from ebay and get them done before taking apart your ride.

Intake also looks real good painted or powdercoated.

Throttle body plate is also another easy find...there are so many different one's out there but dont remember where I found the Cadillac one  everything is usually tailored to Impalas, Firebirds or anything other than Cadillacs

Looks like MafiaCustoms used the Corvette engine cover...even plated the exhaust heat shields :wow: along with everything else.

StreetTrends sells this item for 249.99

Silicone hoses from ebay add some color

Nice looking LT1, some items they sell on StreetTrends on it.

Cadillac info.

Cat-back setup (for Fleetwood) great once you add an intake….more airflow in + more out.

anyone know where i can get this air filter and setup to replace my factory one?

That filter actually looks like an LS1 filter and I have not been able to locate one like it anywhere when searching for the LT1.
The chrome cover over the entire intake is the one that StreetTrends sells...also if you notice the engine compartement on the red two door fleetwood vert they used the same intake that StreetTrends sells. I will keep looking though. ;)

This link offers some nice chrome parts for the LT1

Sorry about that, I had just ordered one from Jegs for a friend, so I had their part number, not sure if Billet Specialties uses a different number on their site.... :cheesy:
