You can't chrome bondo, well you could but it will look like shit. What I do is primer them, wet sand and clear them. It has to be a smooth surface for the chrome to look clean.

Dupli-color primer sealer in the can. They sell it at pepboys

Touch up the spots with a dab of alclad or even silver.  Usually it's so small it's hard to tell.
I always remove my pieces and clean them up before plating.  Check with the plater to see what's the biggest rack they can take and make your own, glue all the pieces on.

lol thats wut i do on regular chrome parts like bumpers ect ,

and would i go about makeing a rack for the parts

www.chrometechusa.com has directions on how to make one. I made my own using brass rod
