just painted my cutty, bout ready to leaf it,,,been practicing and practicing. But i cant get the machine turn to come out right for the life of me. Any tips or tricks???

clean my surface/ apply spray on adhesive / let tack for a couple hours / apply gold leaf / brush off excess / wrap felt rag around a bottle cap, and try and turn the leaf (ends up looking like shit)

Main questions,,,how long should adhesive tack dry? how long to let leaf sit before turning? whats best material to turn with?

i saw a guy using "brush" with a foam ball for a tip when he did it on TV if that helps any.

ive heard of people making a ball like out of a shop rag, and putting it on a drill. then wrap some velvet around it, then spin it on the leaf very slowly

well im using a bottle cap.. wraped in velvet.. wit a stick on it.. works nice..

not being able to turn the leaf can be caused by the wrong leaf being used.

the fake stuff from a craft store will not work correctly
