making a speaker box

i want to make a sealed box for my XPL what is the smallest size box i can make i have hydros so i don't have much room i remember reading that these xpl don't need much space.

also i what material should i make the box i was thinking of using MDF wood but what size and use white glue ETC..


Also the specs for the box size is

1.0/28.3 MINIMUM
1.5/42.5 MAXIMUM

Can u explain to me how i would make the box with those numbers

if u go with the bigger box it will boom much lower bass ..post some max measurements in the trunkwhere ya want the box to be and ill tell u exact dimensions ..kicker is the shiat.. i have 4 12'comp vrs..and 3 pumps and 6 batts in my trunk :biggrin:

34 inches horizontal
13 1/2 inches vertical
13 inches deep-ed
If you were to use 3/4" MDF, You would have about 2.959 cubic feet to play with, that's 1.4795 per sub, but you have to factor in the displacement of the speaker, and compensate for that when building your box.
