Mexican Independence Day Celebration Car Show

Mexican Independence Day celebration, contest of two categories, Low raiders and classic cars Sunday September 11th 2005, 4th Avenue and East Lake St in South Minneapolis 55408

Street event from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. from 35W to Portland Ave., Car show from 12:00 to 4:30 p.m., Award ceremony at 4:00 p.m.

More than 20,000 people join this annual celebration (4th annual celebration)

More that 100 vendors, 3 stages with different Latino-American music. Inflatable games, ponies, clowns and sports for youth and kids. Mexican traditional food as taquitos, tamales, enchiladas and corn. 40 different corporations and local Latino business participate on the parade. Parade starts at 11:00 am. from Lyndale Avenue to 4th Avenue South on Lake street. This is a “Family and Friendly environment”

Enter fee for cars $15.00 with gifts for all participants
