wasnt sure what forum this fit best in, so i thought i post here too.......

Im planning on buying a welder this weekend, and was looking at the millermatic 175. Now before i go drop a grand on a welder i want to know is it able of welding 1/4" steel to my frame with a strong weld? And also between the Millermatic 175 and the Lincoln Mig 175, which would you choose and why? both have almost the same specs..... here they are for the millermatic 175

i have a miller matic 175 and it welds 1/4 just fine
