My Olds Cutlass has a 307 and its starting to knock and it smokes when driving it. I want to put a 350 chevy in it, what would it take to put it in my cutlass? would it bolt up to my tanny? Or should i get another olds motor??

Thanks for the help

the 350 will fit, but you may have to change the motor mounts.

as far as the tranny bolting up, i don't know. what kind of tranny is it? there are many different bell housing bolt paterns even on a turbo 350. if your tranny won't bolt up you could probably just swapp the bell housing for one that does fit.

a 350 will fit. you shouldnt have to change the motor mounts but the tranny will need to be changed or use an adaptor plate. olds uses a different bell housing then chevy. and on auto trannys the bell housing is part of the case for the tranny
