wats up everyone, this is my very first post,so here it goes
i was searching all over the net to find out what motor the oasis xd 2000 compressor uses,i found on this website that is was a prestolit mbd-5007 12/24 dc motor ,i bought one from forest city electric, and just got it yesterday,it doesnt have a shaft that sticks out, instead, it is a slot type of shaft, now what i cant find is a coupler that would couple a york to the motor, oasis sells them ($40) but if i could see what one looks like, im sure i could rig one up,if some one could help it would be greatly appreciated.

i was also wondering if anyone knew-what is the difference between the left and right hand yorks, whichever way you turn it,it still sucks and discharches out the same holes, so if anyone knows about that, then it will also be very appreciated.

the motor was $300,i took it down to my local welding shop and they made a shaft that had a slot in it to fit right in the motor and bolted up right on the 4 bolts of the motor, they told me it was used in hydraulic applications for farms and things of that nature,as long as it works,i dont care.ill post pictures later though.
