When you lock-up an hear that "binding" lower that fucker down NOW!!!

Otherwise you lose.......

Lose the shaft and worse the carrier bearing in the differential...$$$OUCH.

Time to get a slip-yoke drivshaft :) . MC

just have your upper trailing arms extended an inch... problem solved.
changes the angle of the driveshaft...

but why do people extend their lowers?

A lot of people that extend the lowers, do so on hoppers to get the pivot point back farther... the farther back the pivot, the higher the car goes... but, it does make it harder to hop.

Yeah, they allow you to adjust the angle of the driveline...

Here's an even better one... have drop the upper mounts down a few inches... that'll solve the problem too.

by the way... shortening you driveline isn't going to solve the binding problem caused when you lock the car all the way up. it binds the u-joint because as the car locks up, the pinion angle changes to the point of binding the u-joint... and that is bad.

yeah but what about the pinion angle when it's dropped? wouldn't be off becuase of extending the uppers? it would be like taking the problem and reversing where it's at. :dunno:
