man it wasnt easy. on the backseat i masked the center part off. it sucked b/c it bled under the tape a lil. on the front seats and the rest of the backseats i did them freehand and then just brushed a few coats of flat white over where i got off the lines. when i first started doin it it looked REALLY fucked up and since i was gonna be doin white over blue i didnt think i was gonna be able to fix it but it came out ok. looks a lot better in pics than it does in real life b/c the white is too thick in some places and too thin in other places. im just glad freehend paintin is my 1 and only true skill when it comes to paintin. lol if i could do lines like that on a real car id be a bad ass pinstriper........

Looks good but I'd suggest a fine tip paint pen. Those kick so much ass! ;)
yeah i shoulda done that but i didnt think about it til i had already started and i figured if im gonna fuck it up then im gonna fuck the whole damn thing up. it woulda been easier to paint with a smaller tipped brush too but the smallest brush i had without hairs stickin out all over was a #2 round which if you dont know ur brushes its a pretty big brush................im stockin up on sharpies when i get to go shoppin again...
that's what i was gonna suggest..a marker or something

did you use the stock edge of the tape, or did you use a hobby knife to make a new edge? that'll cause the bleeding.

i did my whole interior on my silverado with spray paint. two tone berber(textured tan) and orange. no bleeding at all. ;)

what causes bleedin?

stock edge or cut?

i didnt understand?
the stock edge sucks and will cause bleeding. anytime you mask something off, tape over the edges and then cut along the edge with a hobby knife, so you get a really fine edge. they do make good tape with an already smooth edge.

(lol, i said edge 5 times  )
Another to help bleeding is after you tape it, spray the first color again or a little clear, that way the first color will bleed first and hopefully clog up any weak points.

i woulda but the only 1 i got isnt sharp anymore and theyre expensive as fuck around here.......

on the center stripes on the backseat i put a piece of tape on it and then did it like foil. i burnished it with an old brush that had a sharp tip on the handle then cut the stripes out with an exacto then brushed over them. i wish i coulda sprayed but i looked at like 40 different shades of blue and didnt see anything i liked so i mixed my own.it looks just a bit darker than bubblegum blue and it goes with the exterior color REAL nice. if i can get my boys digital ill take the finished pics with that so you can see how good the 2 shades blend together
