Yeah but its like $131 for new ones mounted at sears. I get about 2 month out of them so it isnt really even an issue. And that price is for 4 tires

u can extend them 1/2 inch and u wont abuse the tires that bad. and depending on how ur car sits when not on a switch the tires might sit str8 all the time.
