suggestions? model numbers? I know theres one thats the industry standard, that was built in conjunction with Gm, but i cant rememeber the number of it.

they are the fluke 87 and 88

88 is geared toward automotive

the 87 is more accurate

i think the numbers are now like 87-3 or 88-3, the third # just means its a newer version, but same basic meter

Ive used the 87 and the 73
the 73 is just a basic multimeter with no real special functions

the 87 will do prettty much everything ya want
im in the GM ASEP program (and work at a Chevy dealership)
and the 87 is the one we all use
