going to buy rubbing compound tomorrow and rubbing pad...which is best, 3m or what?

3M perfect-it 3 rubbing compound. has a purple label. i like the white foam waffle pads myself. the next step is 3M Swirl Mark Remover with the black pad. non filling and fuckin works!!

Here's a good rubbing compound.



:biggrin: But seriously, 3M is good. I've also used the Meguire's stuff with pretty good results.

didnt 3m change there compound, around here they can only get the blue label one now, but i've been using Black Pearl compound, it comes in five stages from heavy compound 1000-1200 scratches to medium 1200-2000 to light 1500-2000 then there polish and final finish hand glaze works great on even dark cars like black with min. swirls and cuts nice and easy..
