I HAVE TO OPTIMA BATTIES SHOULD I HOOK THEM UP IN PARALLEL OR IN SERIES THERE GOING TO BE FOR 4-12 AND 4 AMPS

in parellel... pos to pos, neg to neg.
make sure your using inline fuses on both ends if your going to be running one batt underhood and another in the trunk..

depends on the strength/ output of your alt. If your alt is putting out 300a and you have a 150a fuse... nawsayin?

A GENERAL RULE IS THAT YOU FUSE THE RATING OF THE POWER WIRE. COMMON SENSE FROM THERE. I MEAN 300 AMPS ON 8 GUAGE WIRE IS OVERKILL. BUT ARE YOU SPEAKING ABOUT RUNNING 1 BATTERY UP FRONT, THEN RUNNING ANOTHER IN THE BACK OF THE CAR. or TWO BATTERY'S SIDE BY SIDE. I ALSO LIKE THE 200 AMP RELAYS BETWEEN BATTERIES. JUST ME, HOPE THAT HELPED

YEA I HAVE A YELLOW TOP UNDER THE HOOD AND A 200 AMP BATTERY ISOLATOR THEN TWO MORE YELLOW TOPS IN THE TRUNK AND I GUESS IM GOING TO HOOK UP IN PARALLEL
