just bought 2 kicker solobarics S12 L7s. They are 4 ohm. If i wire them in parallel, would i be able to use a 2 OHM amp to push them?

why wouldn't it be 2 OHM? I thought if you wired a 4 OHM sub parallel, it would give a 2 OHM load. so i was gonna get a mmats 1400 watt @ 2 OHM amp. but now i'm all confused. WTF. help me out. 2 dual 4 OHM kicker solobaric 12 L7 subs. What amp OHMAGE? :uh:

Dual 4-ohm?  If you want to power the two subs', you'll want to get an amplifier that is 1-ohm stable.
this is very wrong, benny the amp you want will be perfect but you will need more than one

Uhh...you need to re-phrase your question then. You said you had two subs' and you asked:

would i be able to use a 2 OHM amp to push them?
Yes...a SINGLE DVC 4-ohm subwoofer would produce a 2-ohm load, but TWO DVC 4-ohm subwoofers (like you asked) can produce a 1-ohm load (or a 4-ohm load).

its all in how you wire a dual 4 ohm sub would be 2ohm parallel so if you go 2 and run them parallel to a one channel amp it would be one ohm,or if you got a 2 channel amp parallel the subs and run one 2 each channel
