ok i just picked up a 96 towncar. when i got to turn the wipers off they dont park in the down position. they usully go all the way across the windsheld but some tiems stop right in the middle. ive stoped by a couple shops to have them check it out but they want to start charging more money then i want to pay just for someone to check it out. anybody got any ideas or had this problem befor?

I don't have an answer for that, but I know it's a common problem on Fords.
