NEED SOME PRO ADVICE!

HEY GUY I HEAR ALOT OF GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS WEB SITE SO I FIGURED YOU GUYS COULD HELP!!!!

Im KINDA NEW TO THE HYDRO THING MY PROBLEM IS I BOUGHT A 86 MONTE WITH 2 PUMPS I THINK THEY ARE LUXOR?? NOT SURE THE WORKED FINE UNTIL I LET THEM SET FOR ABOUT THREE MONTHS ( FAMILY EMERGANCY OUT OF TOWN) AND WHEN I GOT BACK WHEN I HIT THE SWITCH THE SELONIDE CLICKS BUT NOTHING HAPPENS, i RAN A JUMPER ACROSS THE NOID THE BYPASS AND THE PUMP STILL DID NOTHING. i TOOK THE PUMP OUT OF THE CAR AND HOOKED A BATTERY TO THE PUMP AND RAN THE GROUND TO THE BLOCK NOTHING. TOOK THE MOTOR OFF THE PUMP AND TOUCHED THE HOT TO THE MOTOR AND NEG TO THE BOLT TO THE MOTOR AND THE PUMP SPUN?? ONCE I PUT THE MOTOR BACK TO THE BLOCK AND DID IT NOTHING?? WHATS WRONG??? WHAT GROUNDS THE PUMP WHEN ITS IN THE CAR?? DOES THE BLOCK ACT AS A GROUND?? I THOUGHT ALUMINUM WASENT A GOOD CONDUCTOR ./GROUND.. ANY HEL[P WOULD BE MUCH WELCOMED!! IM SO LOST JUST WANT TO THROW THE WHOLE SET UP AWAY !!!! P.S. HOW CAN I TELL IF MY BATTERYS ARE GOOD THEY SAY THEY GOT A CHARGE BUT HOW CAN I CHECK THEM WITH A LOAD ON THEM???

for the motors not working i would say it's time to put in new pump heads .. sounds like the gear is broken or someother way jammed up ... did you try to remove the key also


_test his by removing the armature in the motor and putting it on the key and try turning the gear by hand thru the armature .. if it dont move ... break out your VISA, Discover or American Express Card,

walmart might have a digital load tester to check them with ... mine does ..

also the batts... do yours have water or are they maintaince free ..and did you test the motor 12 volts off your engine battery? if so ...did you reconnect the ground ..and check your connections

Yes the block is the ground. looks like your block/motor touch isnt putting the power through it.

or maybe your bats are just low enough to spin a motor,but not spin the key and pump head gears (when the pump is re-assembled)

charge your batts, try the setup with the batts on the charger.

mopst cheap batteries will go crap after 3 months of sitting.

My batterys plus, battery died after sitting for a month.
lil late on this one but what time of the year ? winter? hot as hell? Im with the others Just B kuz the batt says 12.7 doesnt mean it has the amps to turn the pump head over!
