need to know before getting wires

My 76 cordoba is 6 and 1/4 inches above the ground at the frame. The tires right now are 215/75/R15, will I risk hitting the frame or the oil pan if I get 14's with tires that are 175/75? I need to know cuz my brother wont stop bitchen about how it is too small, and the ride is goona be too rough ( personally I could care less if the ride is rough. I just wanna look good). Please help me.

you shouldnt bottom out unless you drive fast over a speed bumps..or hit really big bumps in the road going fast...are you going to get 13,s or 14's...if you are worried..get the 14's...if you want to stay 100% stock height..roll the 15 inch wires

Im not saying that I care. I want to make sure that I wont tear open my oil pan, plus he works a tire bay, and he refuses to sell me tires if I get 14's

no offense, but your brother is WRONG

Shit, I would put 13s on that car. I put 13's on my fleetwood before it even had juice. It was low, but I never scraped just driving around, now steep driveways etc, go sideways ;)

but my car is already pretty low, my friend put 13's on his 93 fleetwood an it is about the same height as my car is stock.
