oh shit! how did u notice that?....kinda reminds me of that scary movie where people's reflections are different.

even a 100% duty cycle comp does not run at a full 100%. Once you turn on a comp, you are shortening it's life span through an enormous amount (those that say have a 150 psi comp and run it at 175/200psi) or little b little (you follow warranty rules - no pressure switch larger than suggested for comp).

... back tot your question, 100% means you can run the comp at a fair amount of time without doing much harm to the compressor. A 50%/30% etc. means that you shouldn't be using it that much due to the heat it generates while pumping. Hope this helps explain... if not

oh ok so it means that you can put a heavy load on it and it wont cook the fugger? e.i air your tanks more for longer with out having to buy air comps in bulk?
