The following diagram illustrates how you would wire eight switches in a 2 pump, 4 dump setup. View is from the bottom of switches.

You can use eight batteries for a heavy trunk setup, plenty of power to each pump and with a longer life between charges by using 4 and 4 in series to each motor. This will result in 48 volts to the motors.
