a pair of NOS GM 1957 Chevy hood rockets. Just the rockets. No scoops or backing plates.

I bought them a few years back in a lot of NOS stuff for my 57, lost them, bought repos, and found them.

I know ill kick my own ass in a year or two, aftermarket never holds ups as well as factory.

Ill take a look. I bought a whole bunch of stuff for my car when i was restoring it, but used most of the parts, including the visor thats on it, that was NOS in the box. Ill take a look though. And ill ask my pops, he may have some stuff for convertibles.

I took a look. I got some Nomad rubbers and misc small shit. Nothing really of value. No chrome stuff or anything exciting. I bought a bunch of stuff off this local old timer who had it all in his garage. NOS bumper guards front and back, rear antennas, rear antenna bases, 2 visors, One of which i used other i sold, a 95% complete NOS continental kit (on my dads car now) SOme gold belair trimmings, these rockets i have still, some other front end chrome. Alot of good stuff. I either used the parts on my car or sold the rest.


And I Checked with my dad on convertible stuff. Nothing NOS he could think off,but He confirmed my belife that he has almost a second convertible in his shed of parts. WHen he bought his ragtop in 85' the guy he bought it from had 2, he parted one and scrapped the body and frame :uh: , then sold the other to my dad and gave him all the parts from the other one. All the stainless, windows, glass, windshield trim. Basically everything but the sheetmetal of the car itself. BUT my dad refuses to part with it. :uh: One of those stubborn guys that thinks he will use it all someday, though his is complete and restored. Gotta love those types.



So just the rockets are left!!!

Thats cool...my 57 is done, so I am just looking for those little things to add to it.
