yea, i've got some vinyl but it looks way off scale. The masking tape looks perfect.especially after it's painted.

how thick is it?? The grain on the stuff i had is what made it look wrong.
its about as thick as if you took and folded a piece of paper towel in half and soaked it in somw watered down elmers glue.[/b][/quote]
well tape is probably cheaper anyways, ;)

do u have any closer shots? can u see where the tape starts and ends?

starts and ends? well usually on gm cars there are 2 seams going down the roof. You can replicate this by overlapping your tape. Laying the 2 outside, then one strip even down the middle, causing two seams. I only used one strip of tape, so there is no stopping and starting, it's one solid piece.
