Paint Prices?

I purchased I belive a gallon of brandywine,a couple diffrent gold bases it was enough to do a bunch of dub city impalas give me 4 coats on the car and still have some left,gallon of diamond coat clear,all the other stuff for the paint and clear mixes,enough parer and tape to wrap about 5 cars,sand parer what im getting at is I didnt have to purchase anything else for the painter.I paid $1005.00 american money.I thought that was pretty good.your price sounds pretty much the same.

A gallon of HOK paint over here in Cali cost around $140.You said you saw it for $40 where you lookin at?$40 is usaully for a qt not a gallon.But shit give me that web site ill buy a couple gallons of HOK if its only $40.

So how many cars can you paint with a gallon?? :uh:

If you can paint more than one car with a gallon, why do paint shops charge so much? And tell you that you need so much paint to do a car, is it so they can keep some paint to make more profit?

i used a gln of base and kandy on my car. i also painted the firewall and fenders too. paint shops charge "alot" cuz it does take time to prep the car. they also have overhead they have to charge for.

a gallon was enough to do 4-5 dub citys for test cars and do my impala with a little left over.actually I may have bought 1 more quart of kandy towards the end.

my signature has prices but they are by the qt lately seams like hok sells more by the qt instead of gallons even at the few paint stores ive been too.
