I've seen it done, but i was wondering.

Is there anything special you need to do?

Or basically just lay the decal and spray when its on there good?

I dont remember who did it a while back.

They did it on the underside of a candy green car.

Decal on the gas tank.

Nah

The guy who did his car actually laid the candy green over the decal.

It was really good looking.

let the decal dry completly then kandy or clear , cant use a solid color though....

Well, im getting some candy green from ryan with my car.

all i did was lay a base coat (gold) then put the decals on and waited hours for them 2 dry and shit then i just put candy over em

naw i just used the blue decals from the 64 impala kit and the orange ones from the 1960 impala hardtop and put kandy over em :biggrin:

And how many coats of paint is that?

i guess not

and that is 3 coats of candy organic green

you're getting mettalic green, tamiya (that's what you asked for) not candy

Has anyone ever colored decals with a Sharpie matching the paint color? :dunno: That's what I want to do to my '65 trunk mural decal though I haven't yet refurbished the body; the hood looks good but due to a lack of a digicam, I can only share with you by words for now! :uh:
