That lower control arm would benefit from the plate wraping around the lower ball joint. The way its welded will also cause a stress point at the edge of the weld. I have seen a few pics on here that showed lower arms breaking right about were the plate ends on yours. The uppers could be plated on the side as well to prevent bending them. Just trying to pass on some info not trying to dog your ride.

man if your search on here, your will find tons of usefull info. sometimes the pics are worth so much more than even a detailed explanation of how to do reinforcements.

ur ight dont weld up and down, unless ur conecting metals thats were it will brake
