I have one, let me take a look and see if I can figure out where I got the instructions to bypass it.

I just remember it was really simple, adding a relay and connecting 3 or 4 wires to it.

the brake acts as a ground, so it allows the dvd player to work when applied. go ahead and buy the bypass on ebay. ;)

Mine has been going for a long time with no problems. relays are cheap anyways, really easy swap if something did happen. You will have to press that ok button still, only once per car startup. i dont think theres any way around that
