I HAVE A 95 CADILLAC FLEETWOOD THAT KEEPS LEAKING FLUID EVERY TIME I TURN THE STEERING WHEEL THE HOLE WAY IN BOTH DIRECTION. OR IF THE CAR IS BARLEY MOVING AND I TURN THE WHEEL. WHEN THIS IS HAPPENING I CAN FEEL THE POWER STEERING STIFFENING UP. I RECENTLY REPLACED THE LOWER SEALS THAT CONNECT THE PIT-MEN ARM TO THE POWER STEERING PUMP, AND IT SEEMS LIKE THE SEALS ARE BEING PUSHED BACK OUT! DO I NEED TO REPLACE THE SEALS OR SHOULD I JUST REPLACE THE HOLE POWER STEERING PUMP?

you are not supposed to hold it against the stop for extended periods of time.

If your gear box is leaking you replace it, Not the pump.

if it pushes a new seal out either you didnt install it right, or the pitman arm shaft has play that lets it slide in and out. it is better to just replace it.
