the best way to paint a car stunner
is to remove interior, glass, mouldings, lights, everything, etc.
then remover the hood, trunk, doors, gas door, etc., if you have a homie with a rotisserie even better, but for this you would remove the frame(forgot, weatherstripping).
with the cars like this stunner its easier to do body work and primer base it.
you can paint the ranfla but a method called "encapsulado"=encapsulated.
this is where the substrate to be painted is covered inside and out with a coat of base/paint/clear.
this is why many of the ranflas here that were built 30 - 40 years ago still exist.
encapsulating a car is not only aesthetically please, but it inhibits any corrrosion from happening.
to encapsulate you are paint everything piece by piece, the door only, the hood only the truck only etc.
it is also a good idea to have a paint brush to spray the door jams and other area of he car where there are 90 degree angles. with an airbrush gun you can avoid overcoating and run-off, orange peel.
this is such a novel again :cheesy: .
any questions on technique or method?
