I was rollen my 94 Fleetwood last night & the chang oil light came on so I went home & parked it & when I woke up toaday I went & got a oil change but the light is still on.

I heard if you turn the key foward (but not start it) & hit the break 3 time & start the car it will go off. Well I tried that & its still on, did I get some bad info or am I doing something wrong :(

Yup, it's the gas pedal, but you only have to do it 3 times really. Down to the floor. And you can start it right from there and it will go out.

Good luck!

2. same as #1 but hit gas 3 times

3.Trun key & hit the gas 5 times & then start
4. same as #3 but hit the gas 3 time

Was the key in the right position?

1. Turn key all the way to the "On" position - all your idiot lights should be on, but the car is not running.
2. Depress gas pedal all the way to the floor 3 times.

The Change Oil light is programmed to come on approximately every 7500 miles. Obviously if you change your oil every 3000 miles, you would not be due for another one when the light comes on. When this happens, I just shut the light off. It's not triggered by a "need" for new oil, as the Check Engine light is triggered by a thrown code.

Let us know what happens!

Sounds like you've got a problem. I'll take it off your hands!

J/P...like I said, was the key all the way in the "on" position while you were pumping the gas?

Otherwise, let me see if there is something else you can do...I'll hit ya back tomorrow.

Cheers,
Jeff

You got the first part right homie. Turn the key to the on position without starting the car and then hit the GAS pedal 3 times within 5 seconds and the change oil light should flash and then go away. If it doesn't work the first time go ahead and do it again and it should work!!
