my caddy has done this a few times once in a while i will push the botton to turn it to metric turn off key and follow those directions again then put back to mphs try again you might not be pushing the pedal all the way in.

get in your ride turn the key to the on position, the position you put it in when you wanna put your car in neutral without turning on the car, let all the lights on the dash flash and when they stop just push the gas pedal: one, two , three times. It doesn't have to be all quick about it but just press it within 5 seconds. Just count one.............two.............three. And i'm telling you homie it will work. Works everytime I do it.

thats why i always got my oil changed at a Cadillac dealership so they get the light off and if you plan to sell it looks good that Cadillac serviced it........and some dealerships even wash and vacuum your car

I Have a 94 sedan deville and when i chaneged my oil i had to push the info button toill it said change engine oil and then push and hold reset on it till ite went back to 100% oil life but look in your owners manual should give info on it

We talkin' bout a big body fleetwood not a sedan deville. its different the way the change oil lights are reset.
