problem with hydraulics

379 Views 6 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  slick_oo
my hydraulics keep dropping only the leftside?
what happened was i broke fitting in the right rear cylinder. Now i fixed that by changing the fitting.
So i lift the rear up and the left side starts dropping (never had this problem b4) it drops pretty quick with the right side still up

my set up is one pump in the rear with two dumps and one pump in the front with a "y" block

what is the problem?

Thanks
Ricky

Is there any oil puddles under your car? If not Close your slow down then raise your car up if it stays up then your dump is stuck open a bit if it still drops you have a bad Check Valve. Hope this help you out.
Tony
thanks...anyone else?

any pics to show what the check valve looks like?

i have two checks?

if i have two dumps for the rear?

:uh:
you may or may not have two checkvalves....your slowdown is easy to find...its the only fitting that has a knob on it...tighten the slowdown with the car dropped and then lift it up
