Special thanks to Marcos of Klique Car Club San Diego who

inspired me to take on this build.

When I was a kid I had a neighbor who had a Lincoln Mark VI
I saw him build it from the ground up, it was the badest Lincoln
I ever saw and I would do anything so I could go cruising with
'him like wash it and charge the batteries etc. etc.
I always dreamed of the day I would have my own.

Fast forward 15 years to this day. The same neighbor asks if I
am ever going to build a car for myself and I say if I could just get my hands
on a Mark VI I would do it. He says I know where theres one cheap but it
has some damage. So we go and take a look and $400.00 later the build
begins! stay tuned for pics of the first day, I call it love at first sight!

Yup I got real lucky all the damage was on top. more pictures to come
on Wednesday of all the debris cleared away. The alternator,
powersteering, and water pump got damaged also but the motor is fine.
I cant get the car to shift out of reverse so something got bent there but
i havent had the chance to look into it yet. Thanks for the support!
I figure if hell bent cleaned up that rag top this build should be a breeze
i think he's up to 600pages now damn!
