i was thinking of goin down to the hobby shop and pick up sum puttys but im not sure what to get thats a good deal and works the best the tamiya is pretty cheap does anyone know any cheaper alternatives

shit tamiya is the most expensive. the best i heard is some shit that comes in a white box i got some but hate using it. i use a ass load of styrene as filler and shape from there then use tamiya for finish

the one in the box might be milliput. squadron makes some red, green, and i thenk white putty that is pretty good.

sometimes i use sum ca glue then i dust over sum steyrene dust the bond is like a rock

When I use putty I use "Bondo" spot & glaze putty. You can go to any Auto parts store or any Wal-mart or K-mart and get it for like $3 or $4 for a 4.5 oz tube.

It's in a tube like tooth paste just a bit smaller and is bright orange.
Is it one part stuff? So you don't have to mix it? ;)

yes it is because i use the3 same thing its just straight from the tube and it works well :biggrin:
