Besides the title saying it all,,

Ive redone my first fittings coming off the blocks and no matter how many times and how much teflon tape i use they keep leaking,, all four ports the pressure side and the return side of the block..

Please advise .. do blocks get old and i jus need to replace them???

first off dont put a shit load of teflon maybe 2 to 3 times around and sometimes they do get worn out from use but thats my 2 cents
Make sure that your teflon tape is going in the right direction.
yup you only need to wrap fittings a few times not much teflon, and make sure your wrapping in right direction otherwise when you put the fitting on with tape wrong way it's just gonna turn off of the fittings making it bunch up then oil will find it's way out
aluminum? will wear out of you over tigthen steel fiittings..
I been wrapping my fittings with 8 to 9 wraps of teflon tape for 3 years and keeps my set ups leak free also I use the thin teflon have never had a leak dealing a fitting
clean the threads......... shit gets trapped in there, may have to retap the threads, again no biggie.
